Taser Shocking Others ( Will A Taser Shock the User )

Why doesn't the Taser shock the other people who are touching the person getting tased?

Hi Dean,

When a Taser is used two probes strike the body and stick in the skin seperated by 18 inches or so (could be more or less). Electricity is then sent through the probes into the body.

Electricity follows the path of least resistance and will not travel over the entire body. The only area that you would not want to come in contact with is the area directly between the two probes. This area is the path of least resistance between the probes and by you touching that area you will be in that path.
